Student Leadership

The Student Academy Leadership Team comprise of student representatives from every year group. All of these students have been through a nomination and voting process within their Home Groups.

Their role within the Academy is integral to developing Student Voice to drive Academy improvements and raise all students’ achievement. The Student Academy Leadership Team represent the “Voice” of students in the Academy; they are a crucial part of the consultation process for systems and process’ within the Academy.  More recently they have worked with their Home Groups to support the development of a new set of Teaching & Leaning/Culture for Learning Principles for the whole academy.  They have presented to their Home Groups on a number of incentives and have given feedback on attendance and behavioural analysis; including student survey results.

The Student Academy Leadership Team are a fundamental part of academy life here at Mark Hall and every student has the opportunity to nominate themselves for the role each academic year.
