Rewards

As an Academy we recognise that rewards play a motivational role in helping students to realise that good behaviour and high achievement is valued at the Academy. We also encourage and motivate students to get involved in community and extra-curricular events. In developing our rewards system further, we will continue to consult and review with students through our Student Parliament. We currently send postcards and texts home, issue early lunch passes, run external reward trips, give attendance badges, hold raffles and offer certain privileges. Challenge, Opportunity, Responsibility and Excellence (CORE) are central to all of our awards and rewards and students have the opportunity to gain rewards at different levels (Bronze, Silver or Gold) in these three strands.
